Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man on Tuesday evening, in the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank. The army also invaded the city of Tubas, sparking protests with local Palestinian youths.

Media sources reported that Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews transported a young man to the hospital after he was shot in the hand with live ammunition.

The sources added that occupation forces invaded the town of Aqaba, on Tuesday evening, sparking protests, while soldiers fired live rounds and concussion grenades, shooting the young man.

Earlier, a large army force invaded the city of Tubas, deployed infantry units throughout the city, and obstructed citizens’ movements.

In related news, occupation authorities handed a demolition order to the family of a detainee in the town of Aqaba.

Media sources reported that the army stormed the family home of the Palestinian detainee, Ayman Najeh Ghanem, on Tuesday morning, and delivered a demolition order for their two-storey home in Aqaba town.
