Israeli occupation forces conducted widespread military invasions across the occupied West Bank on Thursday, breaking into homes, invading refugee camps, abducting residents, and assaulting communities in Bethlehem, Nablus, Jenin, Tubas, and Ramallah.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Dheisheh refugee camp at dawn and abducted six residents: Adam Mohammad al‑Balboul, Mohammad Ahmad Salama al‑Amir, Ali Yousef Arafa, Mohammad Omar Dawoud, Adam Essam Ahmad al‑Afandi, and Ammar Taleb Nimir from the city of Bethlehem.
Troops later returned to the refugee camp in the evening, deploying at its main entrance along the Jerusalem–Hebron road and firing tear gas and concussion grenades.
Israeli forces also invaded the Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem, where troops positioned themselves in several neighborhoods, broke into and searched a refugee center, and withdrew without reporting abductions.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted six residents after invading multiple neighborhoods and breaking into homes.
Those abducted have been identified Adly Yaish from the al‑Ma’ajin neighborhood, former political prisoner Ala Hassouna from Rafidia, and an unidentified resident. Troops also invaded the town of Burqa northwest of Nablus, where they abducted Samer Yasser Abdullah Daghlas and two children, Omar Awn Abu Omar and Ahmad Raed Daghlas.
East of Nablus, two residents, aged 43 and 40, were shot with live ammunition fired by the soldiers during their invasion of Beit Furik. Both sustained abdominal wounds and were transferred to hospital. Israeli forces opened live fire at residents during the invasion.
In Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces withdrew after invading the city for several hours and breaking into the home of the family of Yazan Fakhri Sawafta, the Palestinian police officer killed in Jenin.
Later in the evening, troops invaded Tubas again with several military vehicles and broke into at least one home without reporting abductions.
