Israeli occupation forces abducted a Palestinian child and forced two families to evacuate their homes on Wednesday during separate invasions in the Jenin governorate in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources stated that Israeli forces abducted 15‑year‑old Ezzeddine al‑Damj from his residence at the student housing complex of the Arab American University in the town of Zababda, south of Jenin.
The sources added that Israeli forces had invaded the university housing area earlier in the evening and distributed threatening leaflets to residents.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces forced two families to evacuate their homes in the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin.
The soldiers invaded the town and ordered Bassem Abu Bakr and his family to leave their four‑story home and gave them a deadline of 2:00 p.m. the same day.
The forces also ordered Daoud Abu Ermeila to evacuate his home so it could be converted into a military outpost.
One of the evacuated buildings, owned by Bassem Abu Bakr, includes an aluminum factory and several apartments.
Residents noted that Israeli forces have turned approximately eleven homes in Ya’bad into military outposts over the past eighty days, severely restricting civilian movement and daily life in the area.
