The News Cast

Israeli tanks and a number of bulldozers leveled, on Thursday, two Palestinian homes and damaged farm lands in the central Gaza Strip.

The land and the two demolished homes belong to the Bin Sa’ed family. The family told local media that Israeli military bulldozers uprooted olive trees near the family homes and then leveled the two homes while tanks opened fire in the area. No injures were reported.

Local sources said the military activity started immediately after Palestinian resistance groups fired a home made shell at a military jeep while driving at the borders of the Gaza Strip.

In other News, eleven Palestinian civilians were detained on Thursday by Israeli troops during military invasions targeting a number of West Bank communities.

Local sources reported home searches and detentions at the cities of Nablus and Jenin, northern West Bank in addition to Hebron and nearby villages southern West Bank.

The military announced that all detained men were taken to army detention centers for questioning.

According to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, the Israeli military conducted at least 14 military invasions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank during this week, during which 44 Palestinian civilians including 21 children were detained.
