Israeli occupation forces carried out new attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing three Palestinians in a strike west of Gaza City, while a fourth Palestinian died of wounds sustained earlier in the northern part of the Strip. The escalation comes despite the declared “ceasefire,” which continues to be violated through repeated Israeli strikes, gunfire, and restrictions on humanitarian access.

Medical sources confirmed that three Palestinians were killed when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of civilians in the Al‑Katiba area west of Gaza City.

Several others were injured in the attack, which struck a location frequently used by displaced families and residents seeking basic services.

Emergency teams transported the victims to nearby hospitals, where medical units remain overwhelmed by shortages of staff, fuel, and essential supplies.

In northern Gaza, a young man from Beit Lahia died of wounds sustained earlier after Israeli soldiers shot him during a previous incursion.

His death, reported by field correspondents, occurred separately from the Al‑Katiba strike, and was not included in the Health Ministry’s twenty‑four‑hour hospital arrivals.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said hospitals received the bodies of three Palestinians in the past twenty‑four hours, including one newly killed and two recovered from beneath the rubble of earlier bombardments. Medical teams also treated four wounded Palestinians.

The Ministry stressed that the actual number of casualties is likely higher, as many victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings and in streets that ambulance and civil‑defense crews cannot reach due to ongoing danger and destroyed infrastructure.

Drone activity remained constant, and sporadic shelling was reported near agricultural lands and residential clusters.

Palestinian media outlets, including Ma’an, Quds News, Arabs48, in addition to Al‑Jazeera Arabic and English, have documented multiple ceasefire violations, including gunfire toward civilians attempting to move between neighborhoods and the targeting of areas previously designated as “safe.”

Throughout Sunday, Israeli forces continued to fire live rounds and tear‑gas canisters in several northern and central areas, including near Beit Lahia, Gaza City, and the coastal displacement zones.

Humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate sharply. Israeli authorities maintain severe restrictions on the entry of aid, fuel, and medical supplies, leaving hospitals operating far beyond capacity.

The closure of crossings has halted medical evacuations and prevented humanitarian staff rotations, while displaced families living in makeshift shelters face worsening conditions after recent storms flooded large sections of Khan Younis, Gaza City, and the coastal camps.

Aid organizations warn that the lack of shelter materials, clean water, and sanitation is accelerating the spread of disease among displaced populations.

Despite the declared “ceasefire,” Israeli forces continue to reposition inside parts of Gaza, particularly near the so‑called “yellow line,” where soldiers have repeatedly opened fire on Palestinians attempting to move through the area.

Palestinian officials say these actions demonstrate that the ceasefire exists only on paper, as Israeli attacks and restrictions persist across the Gaza Strip.

Sunday’s killings underscore the ongoing collapse of safety, infrastructure, and humanitarian access in Gaza, where civilians remain under constant threat more than two years into the assault.

The Health Ministry’s latest cumulative figures reveal that the number of Palestinians killed since the “ceasefire” announced on October 11 has risen to 641, while 1,711 have been injured. Rescue teams recovered 755 bodies during this period.

Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, the total number of Palestinians killed has reached 72,126, with 171,809 injured.
