Illegal Israeli colonizers injured a Palestinian man on Thursday while he was working on his land in the village of Orif, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank. In the town of Madama, settlers damaged citizens’ property, while clashes erupted after colonizers stormed the village of Jalud, south of Nablus.
Israeli colonizers attacked a citizen while he was working on his land and fired live rounds after storming the village of Orif on Thursday evening.
Media sources reported that the citizen Abdul Fattah Al-Safadi suffered injuries to his face and head after a group of armed settlers assaulted him on his land. The invading settlers opened fire with live rounds; no further injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, a group of colonizers stormed the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, on Thursday night, sparking protests from local Palestinians.
The settlers invaded the Al-Dahr area of the village, approaching citizens’ homes, before residents confronted the intruders; no injuries were reported.
Furthermore, a large number of Israeli colonizers, stormed the town of Madama, south of Nablus, and vandalized citizens’ vehicles under army protection.
Media sources said that Israeli forces accompanied a group of colonizers who vandalized and damaged citizens’ vehicles in Madama.
Occupation soldiers opened fire with live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades; there were no reports of injuries.
In related news, Israeli settlers erected a tent and raise the flag of the occupation state in the “Dahr al-Mazrab” area of Kisan village, south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
According to Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.”
