Sixteen Palestinians were injured on Wednesday in a series of Israeli violations across northern and central Gaza, including drone strikes, live fire, and the detonation of unexploded ordnance, despite the “ceasefire” that has been in effect since October 11, 2025.
Medical sources reported that an Israeli drone fired a missile at a gathering of civilians in the al Mukhabarat area northwest of Gaza City, injuring five Palestinians, including a child.
The wounded were transferred to the al Saraya field hospital, where medical teams continue to operate under severe shortages and difficult field conditions.
In northern Gaza, two Palestinians were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians in the center of Jabalia refugee camp.
Two additional Palestinians suffered moderate injuries — one in the hand and another in the back — after Israeli forces opened fire toward tents sheltering displaced families in Block 2 of Jabalia. They were taken to al Shifa Hospital for treatment.
Palestinian residents managed to rescue a young man who was shot by Israeli snipers near the Jabalia Services Club in northern Gaza.
In central Gaza, medical staff at al Awda Hospital in Nuseirat refugee camp reported receiving two injured Palestinians, one in critical condition, following the explosion of an unexploded ordnance west of the camp.
Separately, a young girl was injured in al Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City when an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device on a group of civilians.
He wasn’t killed by illness alone; he was killed by a world that watches the death of infants on a livestream and fails to act. For 40 days, he fought for a single breath, while borders remained closed, hearts turned to stone, pic.twitter.com/RWtuQAjM1X
