Egyptian Security sources reported Sunday that an explosives storage was located in Sheikh Zweid area, in the Sinai Desert, just 10 kilometers away from the border with Gaza. The sources added that the security forces received a tip indicating that weapons dealers intended to smuggle weapons and explosives into Gaza through the tunnels.
The Egyptian Police and Security Forces managed to locate the underground facility containing 11 grenades and 14 shells, in addition to parts of missiles that were collected from previous wars in the Sinai Desert.
