The former lead singer of the rock band Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, is the latest artist to voice support for the boycott of Israel, in an effort to pressure the Israeli state to end its occupation of Palestinian land, and comply with international law and signed agreements.
Truck drivers protested, Monday morning, at the Karam Abu Salem crossing in the Gaza Strip for the second day. This prevented the entry of goods to the strip. Jihad Islaiem, spokesman for the protesters, stated that the protestors are not interested in closing the crossings. He blames the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli occupation and he asks the President to reconsider current co-operation with the Israeli government.
The Israeli Army invaded Kharbet Tana in the eastern part of Nablus, on Monday, and confiscated tanks of water belonging to civilians. These were used to provide drinking water for both residents and animals. Khirbet Tana has been demolished six times.
