Israeli army bulldozers uprooted on Wednesday Palestinian farmlands that belong to resident of Mas-ha town, in the Salfit District in the central West Bank. The soldiers also demolished stables in the area.Resident Hani Amer stated that the army uprooted nearly 100 olive trees that belong to him, in order to build a section of the illegal Annexation Wall in the area.
He told the Palestinian News and Information Agency, WAFA, that Israel wants to expand the Ornit illegal settlement, built on private owned lands belonging to the villagers of Mas-ha and Azzoun Atma.
“I received no notification, I was surprised when I went to my land to see bulldozers uprooting my trees”, Amer said, “The lands Israel is eyeing on are hundreds of Dunams that belong to resident of Azzoun and Mas-ha”.
Furthermore, soldiers bulldozed and demolished stables and sheds that belong to residents living in the northern plains of the occupied West Bank.
Army bulldozers demolished sheds and residential structures in the Al-Himma and
Kardala areas.
In other news, soldiers fired sounds of live ammunition at open areas in Juhr Ad-Deek, near Gaza City; no injuries were reported.
