The Palestine News Network (PNN) reported that dozens of residents were treated for the effects of teargas inhalation, after Israeli soldiers invaded Al-Biereh, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah and fired gas bombs.PNN said that the soldiers invaded Um Ash-Sharayet neighborhood, in Al-Biereh, broke into several homes and handed a number of residents notices to head to the nearest security center for interrogation.

The army also fired gas bombs near the Palestinian TV and Radio building, leading to a number of injuries among the journalists and employees in the building.

Soldiers withdrew from the area later on; no arrests were reported. The attack is part of daily invasions and assaults carried out by the army against Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank.
