Palestinian detainee Murad Abu Maeleq was transferred to hospital in a critical condition after falling ill. Abu Maeleq, who is from the Gaza strip, suffers from colon cancer, and was taken to the hospital five times during the last two weeks.
He stopped taking medications few days ago to protest the ‘medical negligence’ of Israel.
Abu Maeleq has been in Israeli jails for 11 years, serving a 22-year sentence.
