As family members and local activists protest in solidarity with political prisoners, Israeli troops invade West Bank communities and kidnap civilians. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Israeli soldiers invaded on Thursday at dawn the town of Azaryiah near the Jerusalem city, where they searched homes and kidnapped a number of civilians.
Local sources reported that troops caused damage as they searched the homes of residents before kidnapping five civilians, including two children.
Later, clashes erupted between local youth and invading soldiers. Troops used tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets. Many were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation.
In northern West Bank Israeli troops invaded on Thursday morning the town of Ateel located near Tulkarem city. Soldiers searched and ransacked homes before kidnapping one resident who works as a local judge.
In Bethlehem city southern West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded the city center searched homes and kidnapped one resident.
Later Israeli troops also then invaded the nearby village of Taqua, searched and ransacked homes, and kidnapped another resident.
In other news, family members of Palestinian political detainees held by the Israeli army and local activists organized on Thursday a sit-in protest in Ramallah city, central West Bank.
People gathered near Al Manara square in Ramallah city center and demanded an end to the political detainees imprisonment by the Israeli military.
The protesters demanded the international community to intervene to stop the Israeli ill treatment against the Palestinian political prisoners.
