The Israeli Planning Commission is scheduled to meet, on Monday, to approve building plans for 660 new housing units in the Jerusalem settlement of Ramat Shlomo, according to a report by Channel 10.The housing plans recently announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly state that 660 units are to be built in Ramat Shlomo, in addition to an additional 400 units in the southeastern settlement of Har Homa.
Channel 10 also said that Mr. Netanyahu also ordered a forward move in the ‘services’ projects for settlers throughout the occupied West Bank, to include streets and public buildings.
The channel earlier, according to Al Ray, revealed Netanyahu’s intention to approve the construction of 1,000 housing units in Jerusalem and the West Bank as part of a deal with the Israeli right party.
