Israeli soldiers invaded, Saturday, Beit Einoun area, the main road leading to Sa’ir town, northeast of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and clashed with local residents causing dozens of injuries. The Palestinians were attacked following the funeral procession of the four residents, who were killed by the army on Thursday.Medical sources said many residents were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, while dozens suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, near the Beit Einoun junction.

The Red Crescent in Hebron said its medics provided the need medical attention to all wounded Palestinians.

The Israeli invasion was carried out after the funeral procession and ceremonies of four Palestinians from Sa’ir town; the Israeli army killed the four Palestinians, including a child, on Thursday.

On Friday morning, the army closed all entrances leading to Sa’ir, and declared it a closed military zone.
