The Israeli District Court sentenced, on Monday, Palestinian detainee Raed Khalel, aged 36, to two life terms of imprisonment plus 20 years, and fined him 700,000 New Israeli Shekels, on charges of stabbing to death two Israelis.
Kahleel, from Dura town in Hebron, is accused of carrying out a stabbing attack in November of 2015, in Tel Aviv , in which two Israelis were killed.
According to Al Ray Palestinian Media Agency, the Public Prosecution claimed that Khaleel carried out the attack in order to be shot by the Israeli forces.
It stressed that Khaleel admitted, during the interrogation, that he carried out the attack willingly, without being incited.
