Israeli soldiers abducted, on Saturday evening, a Palestinian woman near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in Hebron city, in the southern part of the West Bank, reportedly for carrying a knife.

The Israeli army claimed that the woman “pulled out a knife at the roadblock, but the soldiers managed to arrest her, and prevented a stabbing attack without opening fire.”

The army added that the woman was detained, and was sent to an interrogation facility.

In addition, the soldiers closed Za’tara military roadblock, near Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, causing a huge traffic jam after hundreds of Palestinian vehicles were lined-up on both directions, waiting to be allowed through.
