Thursday afternoon, the Israeli Radio reported that Israeli police arrested on Wednesday and Israeli army officer suspected of belonging to a neo-Nazi group.

The soldier, a new immigrant and a resident of Ariel settlement, was detained by a detective squad after his behavior which raised suspicions.

The Israeli online daily Haaretz reported that the soldiers told the police that he is a member of the neo-Nazi group, and that ‘he hated the state of Israel’, a swastika was found on his left arm, the police added.

Also, police searches at his home uncovered materials connecting him to neo-Nazi organizations.

“when the police arrived at his home, his mother also declared that she is a neo-Nazi who hated Israel’, Haaretz reported.

The Israeli Interior Ministry announced on Thursday that it was looking into the possibility of stripping the mother and her son from their Israeli citizenship.
