The Israeli army said Tuesday it would impose a full curfew on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip from the early hours of this morning until Saturday night.
Israel starts Independence Day celebrations on Wednesday.
Israel has been placing the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during all Israeli national celebrations and Jewish holydays.
The decision to impose the curfew was taken at the weekly coordination meeting between Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz and the heads of the Israeli security services.
During the coming four days, Palestinians will be denied access to Israel, except of specially permitted humanitarian cases, and security inspections at dozens of military check posts within Palestinian territories will be upgraded.
