Israeli soldiers attacked, Friday, the weekly protest against the Annexation Wall and Colonies, in Kufur Qaddoum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.
The soldiers shot live ammunition and tear-gas canisters at the peaceful citizens, causing many to suffer the effects of tear-gas inhalation, the Popular Committee against the Wall and Colonies in Kufur Qaddoum has reported.
Morad Eshteiwi, the coordinator of the Popular Resistance Committee, said residents are opposing Israel’s illegal settlement activity and the 2003 closure of the road (to Palestinians) that connected the village with the Northern West Bank city of Nablus.
The Road was closed to enable easy access to the colonialist settlers, driving to and from the illegal Kedumim colony, which was built on private Palestinian lands.
