Monday at night, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a resident near the Philadilphi Route in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army claims that apparently and an Egyptian resident, from Rafah-Egypt, infiltrated through the borders and was spotted by the soldiers near the Rafiah Yam settlement, south of the Gaza Strip.  
 
According to Israeli army report, soldiers shot and killed the resident as he climbed over the fence at the Gaza-Egypt border and entered the southern Gaza Strip.
 
The army believes that the man is an Egyptian involved in weapons trafficking, but no weapons were found near his body which was abducted by the army.
