Health Information Center, in the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said on Wednesday that soldiers shot dead 41 Palestinians; 30 in the West Bank, and 11 in the Gaza Strip, in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip since the beginning of September.
The Center said that eleven Palestinians were killed in the West Bank and forty-one in the West Bank.
Meanwhile, the center said that the period between September 6th and September 12th, is considered the most “dramatic†period; 27 were killed including 24 in the Gaza Strip.
According to the report, 59.3% of the killed residents died of shells which completely deformed and burned their bodies, and that 33.3% died of injuries to the upper parts of their bodies, especially the head and chest.
Number of residents admitted to hospitals during this period reached 331 residents.
The center considered the military operations and assassinations as direct violations to the International Law and the Fourth Geneva conventions, in addition to directly violating the additional protocol, Article 20, of the Geneva agreements which states that medical teams and specialized employees should be protected while conducting their duties while rescuing wounded residents and conducting humanitarian activities.
“Israel is directly violating articles 12 and 15 from the additional protocol in the Geneva agreements which calls for protecting medical teams and bars the army from obstructing the work of the medical teams regardless of the person being rescued’.
At the end of the report, the center condemned the continuous operations and attacks conducted against the Palestinians, and demanded the International Community to pressure Israel in order to provide protection to the Palestinians, and directly stop the daily killings of innocent civilians
