An Israeli military source reported on Wednesday evening that soldiers arrested two Palestinian youth at Al-Jalameh checkpoint, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Soldiers claimed that the two youth were carrying explosives and weapons.

“The two – aged 15 and 16 years old told interrogators were supposed to dispatch the explosives to a resistance group”, an Israeli security source told Israeli Radio.

The Israeli radio said that the two youth apparently entered Israel from an area near Jenin, and that they carried several packages on previous occasions.

Humam Daraghmeh, one of the youth, said that he is a member of the Islamic Jihad, while his friend Nasser Daraghmeh was recruited by the Al-Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fatah, the Israeli radio reported.
