Labor Party committee gathered Monday in Tel Aviv, Okayed union with One Nation party and discussed the coming election of a new party leader.

Supporters of candidates Shimon Peres, Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and Matan Vilnai gathered outside the meeting place to campaign for their candidates.

Vilnai used the opportunity to criticize Peres.

“A vote for Peres is a vote to glorify the past.” Vilnai said, explaining that Peres’s regime was marked with internal war in the party “that must be stopped.”
