A local source in Hebron reported on Monday that settlers attacked a nine-year-old child in the West Bank city of Hebron, and installed tents on lands they annexed in Wad Al Nassarah neighborhood in the city.

The settlers installed their tents, as part of the celebrations of the new Jewish year, after annexing lands near Keryat Arba’ settlement in the city, while the army did not attempt to evacuate them.

Also, settlers of the Ramat Yeshai illegal settlement outpost, in Tal Rmeida neighborhood in the center of Hebron, attacked and severely punched Sharif Taiseer Abu Odeh, 8, and chanted slogans against the Palestinians, calling for expelling them.

The child suffered moderate wounds and fractions. 

Earlier on Monday, Israeli soldiers arrested 23 residents in Hebron and several surround villages, and took them to unknown destinations.

Dozens of residents were held and interrogated as the soldiers were searching their homes.
