Israeli soldiers supported by ten armored vehicles and jeeps, invaded Atteel village, north of the West Bank city of Tulkarem and arrested eight residents.

A local source in Atteel reported that soldiers surrounded the village, before invading it, and broke into dozens of homes and searched them.
 
The source stated that soldiers arrested Sameer Abu Al Haija, Moawiya Al Shalabi, Sa’id Abu Khazna, Mohammad Rizya, two brothers from the family of Abu Hasna, and two other brothers from the family of Abu Khaleel; most of the arrestees are students, and are said to be members of the Islamic Jihad.
 
Damage was reported to the attacked homes after soldiers stormed them and confiscated mobile phones and other electronic equipments. 
 
Also, soldiers broke into the home of the head of Atteel village council and forced him, and his family, to step out of their home for ninety minutes while searching it, damage was reported.
 
Moreover, closure over Tulkarem and its surrounding areas was intensified as soldiers installed dozens of portable checkpoints and barred the residents from crossing after dividing it into four separate parts. 
 
The invasion was carried out after the suicide bombing which took place on Thursday morning near Faroun military checkpoint, south of Tulkarem; one soldier was killed and three were injured, one seriously, while on the Palestinian side, three residents were killed, and seven were injured.
 

A medical source in Thabit Thabit Hospital in Tulkarem reported unidentified remains of two residents are currently at the hospitals morgue.
