Israeli army forces invaded the West Bank cities of Jenin and Tubas, and searched several homes late Monday night.

Israeli soldiers attacked the two cities while others erected temporary checkpoints at the entrances of Yamoun, Kufr Dan, Sileh Al Haritheh and Tamoun villages near Jenin.

Soldiers conducted intensive searches of the residents’ houses in the two cities and detonated sound bombs during their search, eyewitnesses reported.

Jenin Governor, Quadoura Mousa, condemned the Israeli closure of the area, now in its third week. He asked European countries and the United Nations to intervene to stop this attack on the city.
