Ahmad Saaadat, Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, newly elected member of the Palestinian Parliament, currently imprisoned by the Palestinian Authority, said that he should  to be allowed to participate in the Palestinian Parliament, whose session opens Saturday, through a Video conference system.

Saadat also said that the Palestinian Authority should release the 13 elected legislators who are currently in prison; and until they are released, to find a way to enable them to participate in the sessions.  He indicated that as long as he is imprisoned, he should be provided with video conferencing capabilities, as is currently being planned for Gaza legislators who are unable to enter the West Bank for the legislative session.
