Israeli army forces closed the Sofa crossing in the Gaza Strip Monday afternoon, allegedly for "security reasons."

The Army did not gave any specific reasons for this closure, although the Israeli news website Yedioth Aharnoth reports that ‘weapons’ were found in a truck at the crossing.

Sofa crossing is a main gateway for the transport of goods between Egypt, Palestine, and Israel. It was reopened only last week following a closure of over a month.
