Israeli army bulldozers resumed work on a road for ‘Israeli Settlers only’ which will cut through the middle of the old city of the West Bank city of Hebron, on Monday morning.

The road will be 800 meters long, and will annex Palestinian land, as well as cutting off several neighborhoods from the city and surrounding areas.  The road will link several illegal Israeli settlements in Hebron together, creating a ‘bloc’ that will then be annexed into the Israeli state.

These actions by the Israeli military violate the Geneva Convention and international human rights conventions to which Israel is a signatory, as well as a ruling by the International Court of Justice calling for an end to Israeli settlement on Palestinian land.
