Israeli soldiers arrested on Monday at dawn five Palestinian residents, including a husband and his wife, in the West Bank city of Nablus.
A local source in Nablus reported that soldiers invaded the neighborhoods of Rafidia, Al Makhfiyya, Falasteen, Al Arsa and Abu Obeida, surrounded residential buildings and broke into dozens of houses.
The source stated that soldiers conducted military searches of homes and arrested Haitham Estetiyya, 33, and his wife Ghada, 31, and took them to an unknown destination.
Also, soldiers arrested Jamal Moneer Abu Salha, 16, Ayman Abu Salha, and Tamer Nimir Al Meenawi, 16.
Soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition and concussion grenades while calling the residents out of their houses using loud speakers, and searched the houses after forcing the residents out, local sources added.
Several checkpoints were installed in the city and around it barring the residents from crossing.
