On Saturday,The Palestinian Network for Children’s Rights in cooperation with the Peace Center in the West Bank city of Bethlehem organized a children’s procession on Saturday marking the International Children’s day.

Some 600 Palestinian children were present in front of the Red Cross Society and marched in the streets accompanied with scout groups.

The children carried slogans calling for their rights and demanding the International Community to protect them from the continuous Israeli military attacks.

They also called on civil society institutions and the legislators to issue rules that protect them from abuse, violence and mistreatment.

The children’s procession was concluded at the Manger Square; several children went on stage and spoke for their rights.

One blind child girl called on the United Nations and the international governments to respect their vows to protect the rights of the children.
