Tha’er Abu Doka, 16, was injured in an explosion left by the Israeli army in the Abassan village east of Khan Younis in the Gaza strip.

The boy was moved to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, medical sources reported.

This is not the only case of such injuries caused by leftover explosives following village invasions. Hospitals across Gaza have treated patients wounded in such explosions, medical sources added.
