Israeli sources reported on Saturday that a mother and her two daughters were killed when a Katusha rocket hit their home in the in the Western Galilee Bedouin village of Arab Al Aramshe, near the northern border.
On Saturday afternoon Hezbollah gunmen fired 170 Katusha shells at several areas across northern Israel. 130 rockets were fired between 4 and 5 P.M, Israeli online daily Haaretz reported.
At least one Israeli soldier was seriously injured when a shell hit a military base near the northern borders, Haaretz added.
Moreover, at least 30 shells were fired Saturday at Kiryat Shmona settlement, one of the shells hit a factory; damage was reported, no injuries.
The shells also hit Al Maghar village, Tiberius, Nahariya, Shlomi, Rosh Hanikra, Ma’alot, and Acre.
In a separate incident, six Israelis were lightly injured after Katusha rockets hit Haifa, an 87-year old woman died of a heart attack at a shelter there. Several cars were damaged by the shells in Haifa and at least one home was hit.
One more Katusha shell hit a department for firefighters who had already left the building upon hearing of the missile strikes earlier, no injuries were reported.
