The Israeli army kidnapped a Palestinian man in the village of Beit Awwa, south of the West Bank city of Hebron, on Saturday, and increased its presence in the villages around the city of Hebron.

The abduction was carried out by the help of Palestinian collaborator working with the Israeli army, Palestinian security sources reported.

The abducted man is originally a resident of the West Bank city of Nablus, the sources added.

Meanwhile, army increased its presence in the villages of Al Samo'a and Yatta near Hebron, and installed several military checkpoints stopping civilian cars and searching them, eyewitnesses reported.
