Palestinian medical sources in Gaza reported on Sunday evening that the
resident who was injured on Sunday evening in an Israeli air-strike in
Gaza City is a 75-year old man. Two fighters and seven residents,
including three children, were injured in the attack.
The air strike targeted a vehicle carrying Hamas fighters in Al Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza.
The elderly man was identified as Rabah Hajjaj, 75. Two Hamas fighters and seven bystanders including three children aged 5, 14 and 16 were injured in the attack.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli air force fired at least one missile at the vehicle while it was driving in the a crowded street.
A medical source at Al Shifa hospital in Gaza reported the the injured residents suffered light-to-moderate wounds.
In a separate incident, a UN official stated on Sunday that a UN school in Beit Lahia, in the norther part of the Gaza Strip, was subjected to Israeli military fire; two children aged seven and twelve were mildly injured in the attack.
The shelling came after three Israelis were injured after Palestinian fighters fired homemade shells at the Israeli Negev town of Sderot.

Sunday afternoon, the Israeli Air Force fired two missiles at a vehicle
driving near Salah Ed Deen Mosque in Al Zeitoun neighborhood, east of
Gaza City killing one Palestinian and injuring at least nine others,
Palestinian medical sources reported.
The targeted vehicle apparently belongs to fighters of the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.
One of the injured residents is in a serious condition, the sources added.
Palestinian hospital officials said four of the nine wounded were teenagers, including a 13-year-old.
Meanwhile, an Israeli military source confirmed the air strike but gave no further details on the target, Israeli online daily Haaretz reported.
In a separate attack, one resident was injured by Israeli military fired in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The resident was identified as Riziq Matar Ghabin, 45; he was transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
