The Israeli soldiers detained trucks containing water tanks that were on their way to farmers in Khirbit Samra village, east of Tubas, on Monday morning.
The drivers of the water trucks said that they regularly deliver water to the village, where shepherds depend on the water tanks to sustain themselves, since Israeli settlements have confiscated all the nearby water wells. This time, however, they were stopped by Israeli soldiers, who took the IDs of the drivers, and their paperwork, detaining them along with the water and informing them that bringing water to that area is illegal.
In a related incident, Israeli soldiers also stopped the residents of Tubas and Tamon from reaching their farm lands east of Tubas, claiming that the area is now a closed military area.
