The Al Quds Brigades issued a press release claiming responsibility for firing three “Quds” shells at Sderot on Tuesday evening.
The brigades also claimed responsibility for firing two more shells at Sderot less than two hours after firing the first shell.
The Brigades stated that the firing of the shells comes in retaliation to the Israeli violations that caused the death of eight Palestinians, the injury of 30, and the abduction of 161 residents, including a leader of the Brigades in Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank.
Also, “The Jihad and Resistance” group, apparently a new group linking itself to the Al Aqsa brigades, claimed responsibility for firing one shell at Sderot in retaliation to the abduction of the Al Quds brigades leader in Tulkarem, and two members of the group.
