The Israeli army abducted two Palestinian men during pre dawn invasions in villages around the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem on Friday.

Mohamed Khamis, 60, from in the Al Doha village west of Bethlehem, was abducted after Israeli soldiers surrounded and searched his house.  His family said that Khamis was taken to an unknown detention camp.

In the meantime another force invaded the village of Beit Fajar, south of Bethlehem, and searched and ransacked a number of houses before abducting Amen Thawabtah, 22, and then left the village, local sources reported.
