On Friday morning raids in various parts of the West Bank, Israeli forces abducted five Palestinian men, according to local sources.  One was abducted from the village of Beit Oniah, near Ramallah.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city of Nablus and its three refugee camps, searched and ransacked houses, and detained and interrogated scores of Palestinian residents.  Eyewitnesses reported that soldiers opened fire randomly at residents' houses but reported no injuries.  Israeli sources added that Palestinian resistance fighters targeted the invading forces with a homemade roadside bomb.  The army reported no injuries.
