The Israeli army invaded the town of Howara south of Nablus in the northern part of the West Bank and enforced a curfew on Monday.

Residents said that the army invaded the town and started to announce the curfew through loud speakers. Soldiers also forced the shops and schools to close and threatened to shoot at any Palestinians remaining in the streets.  

At the time of this report Howara is still under curfew according to witnesses from the town.
