A cease-fire took hold in Gaza on Tuesday morning after five days of intensified Hamas-Fateh feuding, which left 32 dead and many more injured.
The truce was struck by Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas and a Rauhi Fattouh, an envoy of the Fateh-oriented Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
It comes as a two-month cease-fire between Isreali forces and the Palestinian resistance has been jeopaedized by continuous Israeli Army attacks in the West Bank and Gaza, which culminated in a Palestinian suicide bombing on Monday, the first since April.
The bomber, a 21-year-old from Gaza, struck the Israeli resort city of Eilat on the Red Sea on Sunday, killing three people and himself.
