Israel’s ambassador to El Salvador recalled after being found drunk and naked on street

An Israeli online daily reported on Monday that Tzuriel Refael, Israeli's ambassador to El Salvador, was reportedly discovered by San Salvador police two weeks ago in a state of debauchery. Refael has now been recalled by the Israeli Foreign Ministry. According to the Israeli media source, Refael was approached by San Salvador police who had come across a man in apparent distress on the street. He was reportedly bound, gagged and inebriated, and carried items that suggested he had been involved in sexual activity. Despite his drunken state he announced to the police that he was Tzuriel Refael, Israeli ambassador to El Salvador.
