Yahia Al-Abadsa, deputy chair of Hamas’ Parilamentary bloc told IMEMC that aid should go through the official legitimate channels of the Palestinian Authority which is the Ministry of Finance.
He added that the goal of the $59 million US dollars which congress approved to be sent to the Presidential Security Force has only one goal which is to strike the current Palestinian national unity and harmony, and Makkah’s Agreement.
Al-Abadsa added that Hamas does not object to any support to the Palestinian Authority, however it should not be packaged with a security agenda especially if it was American, accusing the US administration of attempting to create a crack in the Palestinian political unity.
