The Israeli Authorities barred the entry of trailer homes donated by the Turkish Red Crescent to provide shelter for some of the residents of the Gaza Strip who lost their homes due to Israeli bombardment during the war on Gaza.The Independent British Newspaper reported Saturday that last February, the Turkish Red Crescent obtained a permit from Israel to transfer trailer homes to provide shelter for 488 residents out of 20.000 who lost their homes.

It added that most of the residents of the Gaza Strip who lost their homes due to Israeli bombardment are now living in overcrowded temporary residencies or with their relatives, while others are living in tents among the ruins of their homes.

At least 22.000 homes were partially or totally damaged by during the war. More than 1600 Palestinians were killed, and around 5000 were wounded.
