Two Palestinian civilians were injured another two arrested by Israeli soldiers during the weekly anti wall protest in al-Ma’ssara village near Bethlehem, southern West Bank.

Villagers, along with international and Israeli supporters, marched from the village mosque after the midday prayers and headed towards their lands where Israel is building the wall.

Troops stopped he villagers at the entrance of their village and attacked them with batons and rifle butts, later troops used tear gas and rubber-coated-steel bullets against the un armed protesters.

Two Palestinians sustained moderate wounds due to the soldiers attack; many more were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation. Soldiers also arrested two civilians during the protest. Leaders from all political groups joined today’s protest.
