Two young Palestinians were injured on Monday by Israel’s shelling in the northwest of Beit Lahiya, north of Gaza, medical sources claimed.Adham Abu Salmiya, Gaza medical services spokesman, said the two injured were transferred to the Kamal Odwan Hospital.
On Saturday night, two Palestinians were killed during clashes with Israeli troops in central Gaza. One Israeli soldier was wounded in the attack by friendly fire.
Israeli troops have increased their assaults against the Gaza strip over the past week.
