Palestinian security forces found weapons and ammunition, on Monday, in a house in the northern village of Salem, east of Nablus, Ma’an News reported on Tuesday.
Police officers said a special force of the Palestinian National Security forces had accompanied them to deal with a clan clash in Salem on Sunday evening.
According to an official source, security forces entered the house to evacuate bystanders when one of the families set fire to their rival’s home.
At the scene of the incident, PA police confiscated an M16 rifle, ammunition, daggers and other hand combat weapons. Police officers claimed two of the family members involved in the clash were arrested on outstanding charges.
