Israeli soldiers fired on Wednesday evening several artillery shells at an area surrounding the eastern Al Shuhada Graveyard, east of Gaza city; damage was reported, no injuries.Local sources reported that the army fired at least five shells into the area. Medical source in Gaza confirmed that the bombardment led to no injuries.
The army recently carried out several attacks and limited invasions that included bulldozing agricultural lands near the border area.
On Wednesday at noon, a Palestinian fisherman was shot and wounded by Israeli navy fire near the Gaza shore.
The fisherman was wounded after the navy opened fire at a several fishing boats at the Gaza shore. He was moved to a local hospital suffering moderate wounds.
