The Israeli Army detained Dmitri Diliani, Member of the Fateh Revolutionary Council, on Tuesday morning. He was moved to al-Maskobiyya detention center for interrogation, the Palestinian news Agency, PNN reported.The Fateh movement in East Jerusalem has accused Israel of targeting Palestinian leaders, who are only performing their national duty towards their land, people and holy sites.

The movement issued an appeal for human rights organizations to put an end to the Israeli attacks against Palestinian intellectuals and journalists.

Palestinian Christians in East Jerusalem condemned the detention of Diliani, and described the act as barbarous.

They added that they will continue to resist Israel, and hold a series of protests until Diliani is freed.

The National Orthodox Conference has announced that it will start a campaign to let all of the orthodox organizations and societies be made aware of the degrading Israeli practices, and their continuous targeting of Palestinian leaders.
